How do I use the secret law of attraction when I can't stop thinking about what I don't want?

I’m trying to use the secret law of attraction to change some things like my job, my living arrangements and my income, but I have a hard time staying focused on what I want all the time. Anybody have any techniques they use?

What does Islam say about "the secret" aka the law of attraction?

I’m a devout Muslim (at least I do my best). I’ve recently discovered the law of attraction and have tried extremely hard to implement it into my life, to focus on positivity, and on goals I want to retrieve, and by doing so I attract success to myself. It’s really helping me better mentally speaking, but I’d like to know Islam’s stance on this type of ideology. Peace, correction, the law of attraction uses meditation and your belief to make your vibrations (energy from your thoughts) to attract like thoughts which you focus on throughout your day, to attract to you and become a reality. Note that praying to Allah and doing "salah" is a form of meditation. The law of attraction can be used from a Muslim person asking of Allah. There’s is no fault in this matter.
How is it like a "doctrine", I perceive it as a mere philosophy which works if applied correctly.

I use affirmations to only attract positive people and positive events and it seems as though people i know and some that im actually friends with that are negative people have contacted me less and have been getting further away from me.

No new positive people have came in to my life but negative people are starting to leave i noticed.

It’s called law of attraction but i haven’t attracted anything yet but im clearing people away. Has it worked that way for others ?

Now my husband thinks that he should have all of the things he wants, but they aren’t coming to him. But he still wants to go by stuff we don’t have money for. Law of Attraction Lessons – A Mindset of Abundance

Being able to convey a mindset of abundance is not an easy thing to do, especially if you are used to thinking in a much different way. You can turn on any channel on the television right now displaying news, and what you are going to see is going to be the exact opposite of abundance. However, one of the most important law of attraction lessons is that you need to ignore these things and develop your own mindset that is much more beneficial to what you want in your life.

Now, before you go and think that this is all about living your life in a bubble, it’s NOT. Sure, there are going to still be some negative things going on in the world. There always is, always was, and probably always will be. The point is, you do not have to let these things have a negative effect on you.

Because if you do, then it will have a negative impact on your ability to use the law of attraction to get what you really want out of your life.

Here are some tips that will help you gain a mindset of abundance:

1. Focus on prosperity.

One of the easiest ways to do this, and a really effective on for learning new things, is to read books of successful entrepreneurs, entertainers, and anyone else that you might find inspiring. You would be amazed sometimes at the obstacles that some people have had to overcome to become GIANT successes in their lives. It just goes to show that you cannot let circumstances dictate your life.

2. Learn to use affirmations effectively.

Most people never really get the hang of being able to use affirmations effectively. Instead, they are taught that affirmations are like little magic spells that will just make things change in a nanosecond. Well, it does not work like that. Affirmations are used to change habitual ways of thinking, so they have to become a habit. That means that you have to work on them DAILY.

3. Don’t allow the negatives to come into your life.

You really do have a lot of control over this. Negative people can be avoided. The news, the radio, they can be both turned off. You can decide for yourself what you want to focus your mind on…the problems or the solutions. The problems make you feel like you don’t have control. The solutions let you know that you DO.

One of my experience started years ago as a child. There was this teenager in my neigborhood that was popular but had a chip tooth. I looked up to her, wishing I had a stylish chip tooth, too. LOL (I did not no better at the time) Well, months later I chip my tooth ice skating with my brother. the spooky thing about it is was; when it chipped it look exactly like hers, omg!!!that way my first lesson at age nine about power of though, wishing and Law of attraction.

I really love this woman and would like her to be closer to me in my life. I haven’t seen her in nearly a year and I want her back with me. I don’t have her contact information, but she has mine. I would like her to send me a message of some kind as a sign.

Use the Law of Attraction for love?

I really love someone.

Problem is, I was too shy to approach this person when we were together (at work). My crush has changed jobs, so I haven’t seen them in person for a year.

We have kept in touch through email (sporadically), but I want something more with this person.

I want them to give me their phone number so we can have a real conversation, but I don’t want to directly ask for it. I want them to get the inkling and send it to me. Can I use LOA for this?

Mind Power : Positive Mindset

The world around you seems to be chaotic. Everything appears not to be in the right place. You are not getting any better from some sort of illness. Your relationship no longer works. You cannot get away from being buried of debts. Your career sucks! Those things make up the equation about you being worried, disturbed, burdened and anxious. Those happenstances made you believe that you are wasted, a piece of crap, and all messed-up. And what now? ”I think, there’s not much more I can do about it,” you just sighed.

Now, what did you feel upon reading the paragraph above? Did it made you feel better? Read again the paragraph. You probably observed that it is full of negative words and phrases. Let’s enumerate: chaotic, not in the right place, not getting any better, illness, no longer works, cannot get away from debts, worried, disturbed, burdened, anxious, wasted, piece of crap, messed-up, etc. And with the mindset you have right now, can you say that it did not gave your heart a heavy feeling or your soul a little bit of weight?

The truth is, your mind has the power. Mind power, it is! Power to create a change in you and to your situation. It all begins when you decide. Your mind can make or break you. It’s just a matter of choice– a choice of you and not you, of what you want and what you don’t want. Your choice defines you, as they say.

Thinking positively opens the gate within us for all the abounding beauty that we can perceived. Ignoring or underestimating the power of mind to bring about what we think about is fatal to the spiritual growth. It imperils our quest in the discovery of inner peace. We may advance in age without realizing that the power is within us to make a change within ourselves and become one with anyone or everybody with no speck of negative energy, whatsoever. Sooner, we’ll come to realize that what became of us is a result of our previous thoughts.

Are you feeling down today? Well, you have the choice before you even got the sensation of it. So why not think again. This time around, it’s positive. This time around, you can make us hear your heart sing through that sweet little smile in your spirit. And let’s sing together as we become one in radiating the positive energy within us. Think of love, joy, peace and truth. Think of yourself, the spirit… think of its true nature and attributes. Don’t entertain impossibility. Because you can make it all happen. Just believe in the power of your mind.

If, after having been kicked in the ass of your mind, you came to acknowledge its power, and you finally say, “I hate being negative.” Well that is no more than being negative at all. What if you could say, “I love being positive” instead? Would that be make you feel lighter? See, even in the choice of our statements can make a great deal in our becoming. Just imagine that in saying that you hate being negative, you are making yourself open to absorb energies of hate and being negative. It is another way seeing the seemingly the same thing.

If you asked me to read again the whole article, I would rather jump off immediately to the last line. Because it is all there is to it. It is the option you have to happily realize your power.

Just think positive.
